About Me:

Kristan Bannister is a Nurse Practitioner that has over 20 years’ experience in the medical field. Born and raised in El Paso, she attended Community college and graduated with her LVN in 2002 and went on to graduate with her RN in 2005. She began her career in Labor and Delivery, then transitioning to Medical/Surgical and Home Health Care, where advanced to Director of Nursing. She than attended UTEP, graduating with her BSN in 2016. Shortly after that she went on to achieve her Family Nurse Practitioner degree through Chamberlain University in Chicago in 2020. She is currently pursuing her psychiatry degree through Chamberlain University, with an expected graduation in 2023. She is a proud El Pasoan and current member of the Border Regional Team. She is an avid hiker and enjoys spending time with her family and nature. She is Board Certified through AANP.
